improving books.
Finally, as in yesterday, finished Arif Shafak's The Flea Place, as grumbled about by me a good few posts back. Nice but it didn't amount to very much --one of those books where you get the feeling that the author hadn't a clue where it was going to end when she started it. 'Oh, I just write, you know...'
Now re-reading William Least Heat-Moon's River Horse. Saddos and geography wonks like me can follow the trip on Google Earth.
