You'll be the last to know...
... anything on this blog, I'm telling you. The Nebula Final Ballot is out, and I'm on it for Brasyl, which is pretty damn exciting. Congratulations to all. You know, I think I might just be able to go...

Yay! Good luck.

(I was pulling for you at the Hugos, so maybe this is your moment.)

Conmgratulations. Very well deserved. But it's a poisoned chalice. You never get to snark about the Nebula list again!

Congratulations!

Best of luck in the final stage. Of course, it's a great book, so hopefully the luck is redundant.

I wish I knew... Orion handle world rights on Brasyl, so it could have come through them without me necessarily knowing. </i>River,</i>, I'm note sure it's sold in Italy.

Just started Brasyl and really enjoying it so far. I noticed the playlist at the end, so put together a Spotify version:

A few tracks are missing but most are there!

Hi- LOVED River of Gods and just starting Brasyl. On p45 of the hardcover there's a description of Nobrega squeezing limes on what is assumed to be coca leaves. While people may possibly have done that in olde Brazil I think it's an error. When people talk about coca leaves and lime, they mean the ashy alkaline mineral, not the citrus fruit. I know this from personal experience in Bolivia. Fruit juice doesn't activate the coca, the alkaline mineral does. A simple Google search will confirm this. Looking forward to the rest of the book but it reads false now. If you publish the next edition, please do your readers a service and fix this. Thanks & keep up the fine writing.
